Passionate about beauty, health and wellbeing, Simone Alling has over 18 years’ experience as a beauty therapist at Ella Baché Port Macquarie.

As a senior beauty therapist at the Port Macquarie Ella Baché store, Simone has a wealth of knowledge in skincare and beauty treatments. With a Diploma in Health Science and Beauty Therapy and also a Diploma in Aromatherapy and Electrolysis, Simone believes in a holistic approach to beauty. As a beauty therapist “we have the ability to boost confidence, calm, relax and re-energise with our hands and hearts. It feels good to have a positive impact on people’s lives”.

Simone has always had an interest in skincare and makeup. Even as a teenager, Simone felt there was a “strong connection between looking good and feeling better”. Following this passion, Simone now does all types of treatments at Ella Baché, ranging from manicures to pedicures, tinting, waxing, electrolysis, massages, facials and makeup. Simone is dedicated to pampering the whole body.

Over the years, Simone has developed a special bond with many clients, and she has been able to build friendships with them outside of the salon.

Simone was awarded the NSW and ACT Ella Baché Therapist of The Year in 2007 and was a part of the Port Macquarie store winning the Ella Baché Franchisee of the Year Award in 2014. Simone loves working with such a passionate fun team.

They have been lucky enough to be taken to Bail twice as a store and have regular team bonding getaways to Newcastle, the Hunter Region and Byron Bay, to name a few.

Simone moved to the Hastings community at the age of 12. Her mum, dad and older brother made the move from Sydney to Pappinbarra. Simone fell in love with the community and country lifestyle. “There is an abundance of free camps, 4WD tracks and picturesque picnic spots in our region.”

Simone married her husband, Dane, in 2005. In 2006 they purchased their first home in Wauchope, where they still live today. It has a beautiful view overlooking the Wauchope golf course. Simone has a big dream to renovate their entire home, and it’s still a work in progress: “we are doing it bit by bit”.

Dane and Simone have two sons, Odin 9 and Loki 6. Both boys attend Wauchope Primary School, and they absolutely love it. Simone and the boys love to go to the local pool or skate park.

Juggling family and work life, Simone feels she is constantly cleaning and tidying up after her husband and boys. They enjoy going to BBQs with family and friends, 4WDing and camping. Simone loves the occasional girls’ night too and enjoys a glass or two of wine.

A passion for helping people be the best version of themselves shows through her online health and wellness business, Le-Vel Thrive ( “It’s the perfect extension of what I do in the salon, helping people feel amazing from the inside out, rather than the other way around.”

6:30am Wake up and ensure my body is fuelled for the busy day ahead. I take my nutritional supplements and pro-biotics to kick-start my day. Hair, makeup, breakfast, make the boys lunches and wrangle to get out the door on-time.

8:45am Drop Odin and Loki at Wauchope Primary School.

9:30am Start my first appointment at the salon. Appointments can range in times, depending on the treatment. My day could be all waxing or all pampering or a combination of the two.

12:30pm Lunchtime usually varies between appointment gaps. The salon is so busy, that sometimes we barely get to say hello to the other therapists. Sometimes our lunches overlap, and it’s nice to catch up.

1:00pm More appointments. I like to look at my client’s history prior to their treatment. It’s good to know their history to see what products they prefer and have purchased in the past. I make my notes, so that I can provide a consistent service for clients’ every visit.

5:00pm Hopefully get out on-time and home to my family.

5:30pm Help my husband with dinner and the kids with any homework that needs doing.

7:30pm After tidying up, I put my boys to bed and we make it a point to talk about the best and worst part of their days and something they are grateful for.

8.00pm Online meeting/team training for my cloud based health and wellness business, Le-Vel Thrive.

11:30pm Bedtime is always later than it should be after doing some housework and getting caught up in some social media downtime.
